Leadership Landscapes
My first "job" was as a wilderness guide, taking clients to life-changing destinations horseback trips in the Wyoming wilderness. Trekking requires planning, preparation, risk mitigation, leadership, and most important: care for your clients. Nobody wants to be deep in the wilderness with a guide they don’t trust or isn’t prepared to manage the unexpected.
I have carried those tenets into 30 years of information technology leadership with companies like IBM, Microsoft, and Trynzic. My experiences include a diverse collection of business and technology challenges from the largest of enterprises to startups.
Experience Highlights:
- Smart Grid real-time Eventing and Workflow plaform
- Equipment as a Service
- IoT data within business strategies
- Advanced sales tools automation
- Complex commerce engines
- Hospital patient and staff location tracking and workflows
- Acquisition integrations
- ERP implementations
- Enterprise application integration technologies and techniques
The Elements of IT Success
Ideation, Planning, and Execution must come together to achieve IT investment outcomes. These activities call upon drastically different skill sets, and must draw from knowledge that spans the business and technology domains. My distinctive skill set is my ability to serve throughout this multi-dimensional problem, bringing teams together to achieve success.
